The Hampden Model H-6150 Liquid-To-Liquid Extraction Demonstrator has been developed to permit student study of the fundamentals of a liquid-to-liquid extraction system. In addition to demonstrating the hydrodynamics of liquid-to-liquid extraction systems and interface control techniques, this unit can also be used to determine the mass transfer rates, heat transfer coefficients, extraction efficiency, and operating conditions at different liquid flow rates. The extraction process can be operated in a continuous or semi-continuous mode.

The Hampden Model H-PST-1 Plumbing Trainer is used to demonstrate an environmentally friendly toilet flushing system. Utilizing gray water, i.e., water drained from a sink, the vanity tank will fill and pump the gray water into the water storage tank of a standard toilet. The gray water will be used to flush the toilet instead of using clean water.
The Hampden Model H-ETS-1A Ethanol Training System is designed to facilitate the instruction of students on the process required to produce ethanol for experimental purposes. Ethanol is a very promising fuel alternative to oil since sources are widely available and ethanol is clean-burning. The student will be able to observe and control the process of producing ethanol from corn, sugar, sorghum, fruits or several other sources. When using this unit along with the Fractional Distillation option, it is possible to produce ethanol with up to 96% purity. (H-ETS-1A-CDL is shown)

The Hampden Model H-FP-223-15 Pneumatic Trainer consists of a mobile bench, storage drawer, and a selection of commercial quality hardware, mounted on a 11 gauge white steel vertical panel, mounted on a frame of 14 gauge steel. Finished in instrument tan texture enamel. The mobile bench is constructed of code gauge steel finished in instrument tan texture enamel with four swivel casters, two with locks. The Hampden Model H-6517 Aeration Unit has been developed to investigate oxygen transfer characteristics of diffused air systems along with physical and chemical parameters which effect oxygenation in terms of retention time. The level of Dissolved Oxygen (DO) in water depends on many physical, chemical and biochemical activities in the sample. The most important factors to consider are pressure, temperature and salinity. The amount of oxygen a sample can hold in a solution will vary with the temperature of the sample, the pressure or altitude at which the sample is measured and the concentration of salts dissolved in the sample. The analysis of DO is one of the key tests performed in water pollution and waste water treatment studies.

The Hampden Model GNR-H2200 Industrial Controls Training System provides students with practical "hands-on" experience in designing, wiring, checking out, and troubleshooting "real-world" motor control systems. The Hampden Industrial Controls Training System consists of a melamine covered wood core panel, on which are mounted interchangeable unitized control modules. The student selects just the components needed for a particular system, secures them on the panel with wing nuts and wires them in accordance with the control diagram.
